Taking the Field
'Taking the Field’ aims to create a collection of digital media stories that reflects the importance of grassroots cricket to local communities in both the UK and Sri Lanka.
The two-year project is a collaboration between the George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling and the Marylebone Cricket Club. We will give grassroots clubs the chance to tell their histories and their stories, and aim to reflect the diverse nature of cricket and the vital role local clubs play in their communities.
